Michael J. McMahon

Michael J. McMahon, 63, died on Wednesday July 22, 2010 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by family and friends. A devoted family man, Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Colleen McMahon née Ryan, daughters and son-in-law Kelley & John Price, and Tracey McGillian, and grandchildren Michael, Ryan, Brady and Aidan. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers Mary Jane Price, Frances Friel, Jim McMahon and Joe McMahon (preceded in death by Geraldine Shields and Patricia Zakrzewski). A graduate of Roman Catholic High School and Penn State University, Michael served as Senior Vice-President of Risk Control Services for PMA Companies where he was employed for 40 years. A devout Catholic, he was a parishioner of St. Helena parish in Blue Bell, PA for over four decades. Michael enjoyed time with his family, the Jersey Shore, traveling and fishing. A jovial, kind-hearted, generous and humble man, Michael will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. Viewing and funeral mass will be held at Saint Helena, Blue Bell PA on Wednesday, July 28th. Viewing 8:30am to 10:45am. Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial at Saint John Newmann Cemetery.
