Mr. Michael "Mike" Ray Meek, age 63, of Carrollton, GA, went to be with Jesus and his family members who have gone on before on November 15, 2025 from an ongoing illness. He was born August 25, 1962 in Amherst, OH to the late Burl H. and Lucille Hale Meek. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Ann Thompson.

He was a graduate with the class of 1980 at Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, OH. He moved to Carrollton, GA in 1984 and was a wonderful cook and talented artist. He loved to walk and made sure to walk every day.

He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Shirley Sue and Gareth Waugh, of Amherst; brothers and sister in law, Burl and Angie Meek, Jr, of Tallapoosa, and Ted Meek and Joan Marshall, of North Olmstead, OH; his companion of 23 years, Renee Carroll; step-son, Carson Spears, both of Carrollton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Bro. Roy Frasier officiating. Music will be provided by Carson Spears. The family will receive friends in the chapel on Saturday, beginning at 12:00PM.

An additional memorial service will be held at Garland-Misencik Funeral Home in Amherst, OH on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00PM.
