Connie, you may not remember me, but I worked with Mike for 2 years with Newman and Roby and "Smitty". He was a great foreman. Easy going and we always had a good time at work with R.H. Dewey. I wish I would have stayed at Dewey, I would have retired last year, but stars were in my eyes. I must say working with Mike was so much fun.
Even in the dead of winter, hauling gunite hoses (they weighed about 90 pounds a piece) out to lake Erie, we still found a way to laugh through it all. May the great God of our lives be with you and your family.

Worked under Mike for 20 plus years. No one worked harder , took pride in their work more , and always went the extra mile to complete a project than Mike. He taught me things I still use to this day. We´d just been corresponding about a church I´d been working on. First day I sent him a picture I got back "I´d love to run that job !" Gonna miss his input on things it was nice to do that with him.

Always willing to lend a helping hand, Mike will always be remembered for his kindness, warmth and generosity. Although it's so very sad that his final years were compromised by a body that would no longer support him, his spirit without doubt will remain forever. We will miss Mike, and we extend our love and mercy to the extended Mercier family.
