70 year old, Michael ‘Mike’ K. Anderson, of DeMotte, passed away on March 19, 2025.
On November 16, 1954, Mike was born to Robert and Mary (Taylor) Anderson in Rensselaer, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Cheryl Sargent on September 21, 1984, in DeMotte, Indiana. Mike worked as a carpenter, who always enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, dancing, listening to music, and the Chicago Cubs. Mike’s greatest joy in life was loving his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his loving wife: Cheryl, children: Cindy (Ken) DeGoey, Dan (Shelly) Moline, Nicholas (Jackie) Anderson, Tim Anderson, Holly (Chris) Sharp, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, siblings: Bob Anderson, Rose Anderson, and his cats: Ardenness and Charlie.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, son: Mark Anderson, and brothers: Eddie Anderson, Billy Anderson, and Johnny Anderson.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Services for Mike will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Brian Burk officiating.
Graveside service will be at the DeMotte Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
