Mike was born December 12, 1968, to Dwayne Allen and Gloria Nadine Unruh Johnson in Watonga, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on September 25, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Isabella, Oklahoma, graduating from Fairview High School with the Class of 1987. He attended Tabor College and later Northern Oklahoma College for two years. He married Tricia Loucks at First Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma, on August 7, 1993. From this union came two children, Sydney and Jake. The couple lived in Enid, where Mike worked for PT Coupling as an exceptional salesman. In 1997, he moved to Seattle, Washington, where he managed the PT Coupling warehouse. In 1999, the family returned to the Johnson family farm in Isabella, and in 2002 they settled back in Enid.
On February 14, 2005, Mike married Pamala Richardson. He managed M&M Supply in Perkins for several years.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—raising watermelons, riding his Harley alongside friends, and filling every room with music. Whether singing along to the radio or bursting into song to lift someone’s spirits, his voice and laughter will be deeply missed. Mike was an artist at heart, sharing his creativity through the unique doodles he loved to draw. A proud OU Sooner fan, he never missed a chance to cheer, “Boomer Sooner!” Above all, he lived by his motto, “Make Someone Smile Today,” a testament to the kindness and light he brought to everyone around him.
Mike is survived by his children, Sydney Gross and her husband, Chris, of Enid, and Jake Johnson and his fiancée, Bella Kaiser, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kinsley and Oliver; his mother, Gloria Johnson; his brother, Don Johnson and wife, Laura; his sister, Gayla Massengale and husband, Joey; and his grandmother, Doris Unruh. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brown-Cummings Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
