Michael “Mike” K. Rosin, age 74, of Mankato, died November 3, 2025.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church. Family interment will be in Hebron Cemetery. Northview – North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mike was born August 13, 1951, to Don and Florence Rosin of Mankato. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1969. At an unlikely trip to the Brown Riding Stable, Mike met Lois - becoming a big fan of horseback riding. Mike and Lois married in 1970, celebrating 55 years in November. After serving his country with the U.S. Army, Mike worked 43 years at Quality Extrusion in Mankato.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman and do-it-yourselfer – traits he instilled in his children. Mike loved fishing and camping, teaching his kids and later his grandchildren how to cast a reel from the backyard deck before heading to Bray Park for family adventures. An enthusiastic golfer, Mike could often be found walking the greens with Lois and friends, even crafting his own golf clubs for the perfect fit. Mike cherished time with family and friends—whether playing cards with Card Club, biking the trails in Lanesboro, or competing for the coveted bowling pin with his bowling group.
Mike was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 518, Key City Conservation Club, Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and the Minneopa Golf Club.
Above all, Mike loved his family deeply. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lois; two daughters, Natalie (Jeff) Wobbema of Minnetonka and Faye Rosin (Sotiris) of Boston; two grandchildren, Zoie and Wyatt Wobbema; two siblings, Jerome Rosin and Darlene (Marv) Garver all of Mankato; brother in-laws, Rick (Terri) Brown of Nicollet and Ron Brown (Frannie) of Moundsview; nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darrell Rosin and Dennis (Linda) Rosin; sister, Mary Ann (Jim) Duenes; parents-in-law, Frank and Clarine Brown; in-laws, Joyce (Ken) Kelley and Ralph Brown.
