Michael A. Miller, 72, of Bluffton, passed away on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 19, 2025, at his residence in Bluffton.

Michael was born on Aug. 4, 1953, to Paul A. and Bonnie J. (Burger) Miller in Portland, Michigan.

He worked for Four Seasons Housing as a service technician in Middlebury, IN for many years. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 until his honorable discharge in 1973. He was a member of the American Legion Post 241 in Waynedale. Michael enjoyed fishing, camping, bonfires, and drinking his tall boys. He was a people person, who did not know a stranger, but more than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons: James M. (Barb) Miller of Wolcottville, and John L. (Diana Marquart) Miller of Bluffton; two sisters, Paula (Clyde) Crow of Ossian, and Chyral (Michael) Clark of Knoxville, TN; along with 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two sons; Mike Miller and Joe Miller; a brother Donald "Donny" Miller and a sister Laura Miller.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 111 in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps honor guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home or the Waynedale American Legion Post 241.
