Michael Glenn Milligan Sr.

Michael Glenn Milligan Sr., age 73 of Kentwood, passed away on Monday August 7, 2023 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan after a brief illness.
He was born on August 6, 1950 to Glenn and Eileen (Browers) Milligan.
He graduated from Wyoming Park High School in 1968. Mike loved to be outdoors, either fishing, hunting, or camping. He also enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers baseball. He was affectionately known as "Pops" by his family and his children and grandchildren were his world. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael (Cindy) Milligan Jr., Ric Milligan, Shellie McCant (Shawn), and Heather Sova-Shevock; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; his siblings, Edie (Frank) Sharp, Dan (Pat) Milligan, and Sue Acker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Eileen; and his infant sons, David and Mark.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Howard City Funeral & Cremation Services, 225 E Edgerton Street in Howard City.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, August 17 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at funeral home.
Burial will take place in the Aetna Township Cemetery.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be given to Sons of the American Legion c/o American Legion Post 554 in Morley.
