Michael Allen "Mike" Milligan, 67, of Tabor City, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 2, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family.
Mike, as he was lovingly known, was born on July 10, 1956, son of the late Mitchell Allen Milligan and Bufa Mae Ikner Milligan of Tabor City. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Milligan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial following in the Family Cemetery on Milligan Drive, Tabor City; Rev. Rodney Inman and Rev. Dean Cartrette will officiate.
The family will have a time of a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at the funeral home.
Mike was an automotive mechanic and also served in the United States Army.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Rena Ann Smith Milligan of the home; children, Tiffany Fowler (Ashley) of Tabor City, Heather Watts (Roger) of Clarendon, Lloyd Brandon Smith of Tabor City, Michelle Singletary (Jeffery) of Tabor City; grandchildren, Landon Milligan, Mattison Hayes, Ryleigh Hayes, Lexi Cartrette, Peyton Cartrette, Collin Milligan, Kambri Fowler, Jaxon Singletary, Case Fowler; great-grandchild, Everett Nobles; siblings, Janice M. Bullard (Jeffery) of Whiteville, Darrell Milligan (Jackie) of Cerro Gordo, Donna Milligan of Tabor City, Stevie Milligan (Mary) of Tabor City; and their fur-baby, Starr.
