Michael Mills Obituary
Michael "Mikey" Colby Mills, 36, of Southaven, MS passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park South. Pastor Nathan Russell of Getwell Church Hernando will officiate.
Mikey was born on July 2, 1987 in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Southaven High School, Class of 2005. Mikey's passion was working out in the gym, and he would be there for hours. Known as a sports fanatic, the Florida Gators were his favorite team. Mikey took many trips to Gainesville, Florida to watch them play. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. Mikey will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Mikey leaves behind his father, Mike Mills (Sandy Hunt) of Southaven, MS; sister, Kristen Mills of Hernando, MS; niece, Ella White of Hernando, MS; grandmother, Virginia Mills of Olive Branch, MS; half-sisters, Raquell Vaughn of Oxford, MS and Amy Lackey of North Carolina.
Mikey was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Lackey, and grandfather, Ydell Mills.
