To the entire Mitre Family,
I was very saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a terrific man. I was always impressed by his intelligence and his articulateness. He was definitely one of the shining lights of the ILWU, especially during some very key moments. He will surely be missed.
My most sincere condolences to the Mitre family and may he rest in peace.
