He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doris Mae and Charles Roley; grandfather, John Montgomery.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Carrie Montgomery; son, Matthew Aiden Wayne Courtney; parents, Julie and Albert Bauman; sisters, Krystal (James) Cox, and Lillian Rea (Moses) Velsquez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
