Michael A. "Red" Morrow Sr
June 20, !932 -October 14, 2025
Michael A. "Red" Morrow Sr., 93, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at St. Clair Hospital with his family around him.
Born to the late James E. Morrow and Mae Raike, Red was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, humor, and love for family touched everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan J. Morrow, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage.
Red is survived by his loving children: Cynthia Bruce and her husband Dr. George Bruce, Patricia Shipley and her husband Allan Shipley, Michael Morrow Jr. and his wife Melissa Morrow, and Debra Trovato and her husband John Trovato.
He was the proud grandfather of Nicole Shipley Teeter and her husband James Teeter, and Allan Quay Shipley and his wife Shari Shipley, and the cherished great-grandfather of Bryce Teeter, Taytum Teeter, Skylar Shipley, Summer Shipley, and Quay Shipley. He is also survived by his beloved dog companion Layla, who has been faithfully by his side for many years.
Red was preceded in death by his siblings Emilou Morrow, Joe Morrow, and Bill Morrow.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his storytelling, and his deep devotion to family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love will live on through all who knew him.
In keeping with his wishes, Red requested a simple cremation with a private ceremony.
