Growing up in the Cleveland OH area, I was surprised to meet freshman from South Florida attending JCU. I met Mike when we pledged Iota Beta Gamma (IBG) fraternity in the spring of 1979 as "The Wrecking Crew", along with a number of other guys who had the "Chaminade Connection".

Mike was fun loving, athletic and a dedicated fraternity brother and officer. I recall Mike was often the center of attention as these photos illustrate....see if you can find him. My favorite is the one on the roof in the Cleveland Metro Parks where he's wearing his shades and has that cool, relaxed South Florida look.

We pray that Mike has eternal peace and rest. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Sandra, to his brother Jim and to the entire family and all his friends. May you all be comforted in this difficult time, and in the future when you may miss him, by your loving memories of the man nicknamed "Mikey Mo...."

He was my "little brother" in our college fraternity. What a special relationship we had. Even though we kinda drifted apart over the years, he always had a special place in my heart. Rest in Peace Mikey! To Sandra and Jim - Thoughts and Prayers offered up. God Bless and Be Well!

Such a good and fun guy. He was a little younger but a lot like a little brother. He followed me and brother Jim to JCU and we´re all lifetime friends. We were tight for many years and we had a great time coaching together. A good man from a great family and will be sorely missed. Condolences to Sandra and brother Jim.
Peace My Friend
