Hi, My name is Quentin Smith. I was a patient of this dear man, my friend, my Dr.Nathan. The man the literally saved my life. In the 1970´s I was born with a rare blood disorder called Agammaglobulinanemia. At the time no one could find out what was wrong with my with a constant Pneumonia. Dr.Nathan worked tirelessly to research and found a Hematologist that was breaking ground in research in pediatric blood disorders (Dr.Olesky) Together I was diagnosed and until this day I´m being treated. But if it wasn´t for his persistence I wouldn´nt have been able to watch my children grow up and actually living to see my own grandchildren born. All because of this dear man, I´ve actually lived beyond my wildest dreams. So as wipe away my tears I´d like to send my deepest condolences to his wife, his children and loved ones that made Dr.Nathans life a dream.

Sending my DEEPEST condolences to his family. I am deeply saddened by this loss...He was my Dr. since I was born, then became my children´s Dr. Pretty much everyone I know who grew up in Passaic or Paterson saw him. A long line of love and respect is what I have for him. There was NOBODY better than him. Even as a young adult he still saw me as a patient. Never not in great spirits. One of the best pediatricians ever to do it! Sending thoughts and prayers!

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. To my favorite Dr. of all time and I'm in my 50s. Dr. Nathan was the best. I stayed with him as a child until I was 19 and when I became pregnant he said you need to see a OBGYN. I was scared to see another Dr. but he said I can't see you now. I had my son and of course he was his Dr. until adulthood. Then 10 years later I had 2 babies back to back and he was their Dr. as well. All 3 of my kids loved him. I could not ever trust another Dr. with my kids and they stayed with Dr. Nathan until he retired. Rest in peace Dr. Nathan. You will be missed by many. Thank you for being a great Dr to my sister's and I and of course my babies.

Dr. Nathan was my children´s 1st pediatrician. I remember when he would come into the room and my daughter would automatically start crying. Dr. Nathan would say to my daughter "Oh stop your faking." He discovered my daughter was born with a hip dislocation. Because of him she walks with no limp! He will truly be missed. Thank you for everything!!

Dear Denise, Aubrey, Justin, Ashley, and all the family - I am so sad about Michael's passing. He was a sensitive, caring man with a big, loving heart. From the moment my husband John and I met Denise and Michael, we established an instant and forever bond and friendship. I am missing him already. May his memory be a blessing.
