Michael V. O’Brien Jr.,69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 16th, 2024. Born in Buffalo, New York, he lived in Stow, Ohio and most recently in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Mike was employed at Pneumatic Scale Angelus as a technical support specialist, retiring after 43 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed working part-time for the Akron Rubber Ducks. His passions were sharing Jesus with everyone he knew, spending time with his grandchildren and his favorite football team, The Buffalo Bills.
He was an active member of Radiant Life Church, serving as a life group leader and a former church board member. He was also the former chaplain for chapter 216 of the Righteous Riders motorcycle ministry.
His kindness, compassion, generosity and positivity can be attributed to his faith in Christ and was evident to all.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Norma (Lane); siblings, Danny O’Brien and Kathy Burkard; sons, Eric and Jeremiah; daughter, Colleen; grandchildren, Dayle, Nathaniel, Gabriel, Luke, Charlotte, Lillian and Simon O’Brien.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark O’Brien.
The family would like to thank Cleveland Clinic Hospice for the care given to him.
Friends may call on Friday, June 28 at 1:00 pm at Radiant Life Church, 844 Hartman Road, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281 with a celebration of life service at 1:30 pm. Cremation has already taken place.
