This obituary says it very well. Sister Michael was an extraordinary Carmelite. She achieved her ideal and was be able to say like St. Therese: "In the heart of the Church, my Mother, I will be love."

As a chaplain for the nuns at the Danvers Carmel for a few years, I remember her quite well especially her quiet reserve and joyful gentle smile. Now she enjoys the reward of seeing the exemplar of Carmelite life she so loved: St. Therese. Now I can pray to Sister Michael as well. I lament so much the closesure of the Danvers Carmel, and I continue to pray for the other surviving members with fond memories of all who were formerly there but were scattered to other places. God bless you all my dear Sisters in Carmel. Fr. Mario Lopez, O.Carm.
