Michael Orach, beloved son, brother, uncle, and partner, passed away suddenly. A man of deep passion, resilience, and heart, Michael’s presence left an undeniable mark on all who knew him.
Michael was the cherished son of Maryann Rodriquez and Eric Orach, and his stepmother Adrienne Orach. Grandson of Anthony Rodriquez. He was a devoted brother to Erika Penick and brother-in law Zachary Penick, Kathleen Orach, Nastassia Orach, and Beau Orach . He was a proud and loving uncle to Viola and Corbin Penick, Ethan, Isabelle, and Lola Shilko, and Beau Orach Jr. He also held a special place in the lives of his significant other Alora Wilkins and her children Jasper, Clarity, and Cedar, whom he helped raise with deep love and commitment. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Millen and Catherine Orach, and grandmother Janet Rodriquez.
Michael possessed an unshakable love for music, drawn to its power to inspire, unite, and awaken a profound sense of purpose and belonging. From a young age, he found his happy place at music festivals, where the rhythm and energy spoke to his soul, “I would follow the music.” A true free spirit, he had a kind and generous soul and lived life with passion and purpose. He rose above personal challenges, choosing instead to grow, to heal, and to give back—to make up for lost time and be fully present for those he loved.
As the owner of Brothers Property Maintenance, Michael took pride in his work and found joy in creating and building. But it was his time spent with family, especially his nieces, nephews, and Alora’s children, that brought him the most happiness. They looked up to him with admiration and love, and he embraced his role in their lives with open arms.
Michael will be remembered for his warm spirit, his laughter, his many quarks, his love and passion for music, and his unwavering love for his family. He was a man who turned hardship into strength and used his heart to guide him toward a better, brighter path.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Thursday 4/17 @ 4:00 at the pavilion at the Bungalow.
