n Loving Memory of Michael Paul Parada

July 9, 1949 – January 3, 2026

Michael Paul Parada, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 3, 2026. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and raised in Hudson, Pennsylvania, Michael built his life on integrity, hard work, and a deep love for family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Leonora Parada; his sister, Paula Parada; and his beloved wife of 49 years, Eileen Parada. He passed away alongside his beloved grandson, Jordan Parada, and now rests in peace with them.

He is survived by his children, Bryan Parada and Wendee Parada, and his daughter-in-law, Corrianne Parada; his grandsons, Makai, Zian, Gabriel, Rex, and Kaz Parada; his great-grandson, Maverick Martinez Parada; his sister, Deborah Tartakovsky; and his nephew, Nicholas Tartakovsky.

Michael proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, including time stationed in Alaska, an experience that helped shape the man he became. He later earned an associate degree and built a successful career in the semiconductor industry, working at RCA, Sematech, DuPont Photomask, Micron Technologies, and Xtreme Power.

Above all, Michael cherished life at home. He was known for his great sense of humor, his love of cooking-especially pancakes for his grandchildren-and his mornings with the ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out). He enjoyed swimming, long walks with his beloved golden retriever, Honey, and staying active at his neighborhood gym. He lived with a clear no-tolerance-for-negativity outlook and encouraged those he loved to stay resilient and forward-looking.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet leadership. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

I worked with Mike at Sematech in the early 90s. He was always happy, positive, friendly, and caring. During that time, my life was sad due to divorce. He always cheered me up, made me laugh, listened, cared. I thought about our interactions throughout the years. People like Mike are rare. I am fortunate to have known him. To his family, I offer my condolences. I am sorry for your loss. Rest easy Mike.
