Michael Pardue Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home - Spencer Chapel on Jan. 10, 2026.
Michael (Sid) Pardue passed away peacefully surrounded by loved one on Thursday January 8th at the Hospice House in Bloomington, IN. He was born in Bloomington on May 8, 1953, to parents Walter and Dorothy.
Sid never met a stranger. He was always ready and willing to have a conversation with anyone, wherever it may be. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, where he was formally known as Papaw Bike. He was an avid Harley rider, in love with his Road King Classic, riding hundreds of miles across the country. He loved all kinds of sports, especially going to OV football games. He was employed for many years at Machango Construction remodeling homes, putting his special gift and talent into everything he touched. His lifelong vision was to own a log cabin, and he was able to fulfill his dream alongside his family in only a couple of years. He loved working on that home and creating the vision he imagined for so long. The last 3 years of his life he enjoyed playing with his kitty, Sissy, throwing springs and watching her roll over.
He is survived by his wife Debra (Webb), they were married January 1, 2009 at the House of Prayer by Larry Mitchell, children Jacob (Cindy) Pardue, Amber (Kris) Mills, Kayla (Kivan) Arthur, Derrick (Samantha) Barnett, Davida (Graham) Freshour and Dean Barnett, grandchildren Bryce (Becca) Pardue-Mills, Kolby (Emma) Pardue, Evah Mills, Gavin Pardue, Jasper Pardue, Ivee Mills, Emmi & Easton Freshour and Rowan & Lane Barnett, siblings Diane (Don) Scroggins, Deb (Verl) Keith, Patty Edwards, Tammy Pardue(James Larkin), Melodie (Jesse) Duncan, in-laws Mr. & Mrs. Fred Webb, nephews Rob Wetzel, Josh Watson, Skylar Pardue, Camden Glenn, Remmy Glenn, several great and great great nieces and nephews and numerous loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 1st wife Rhonda Anderson, nephew Scottie Thompson, life-long friends Bill Clark and Bob Farmer.
Funeral services for Sid will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana 47460. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.

I have known Mike nearly all my life. I just learned of his passing and I'm devastated. He was truly one of the good guys. Always pleasant, always honest, always reliable. I had asked him years ago to s Christmas party my company was giving and the Michango party was the same night. He talked to his boss and crew and they reset their party so he could go with me to mine. He went above and beyond for people he cared about. If he was out mowing or something when he owned the cabin on Jones Rd, I would always pull into the drive and sit and talk awhile. We shared a really special friendship which I'll always treasure. I can just see his blue eyes shining and his smile. I will miss him forever. Goodbye, sweetheart. I'll see you again
