Michael John Parsons

Michael John Parsons (NcN_Boogr),age 49, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center, in Flint MI.
Born on June 5, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Ben and Lynne (Widdis) Parsons. He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for 25+ years.
Michael Parsons, known to many as NcN_Boogr, passed away and his absence leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Boogr found joy in the things that let him explore, create, and connect. PC gaming, RC cars, and flying drones were more than hobbies; they were part of how he experienced the world and shared it with others. Whether online or in person, he had a way of bringing people together.
What mattered most about Boogr was not what he did, but who he was. No matter who you were or where you came from, he made you feel like family. He loved his children and grandchildren more then anything and cherished every moment with them. He accepted people exactly as they were, without judgment, and made them feel safe, seen, and welcome. That was his gift.
One of the things that feels most "him" is that Christmas never ended. He listened to Christmas music year long and never let the holiday spirit fade. When Christmas came around, he went all out because for him, joy, warmth, and togetherness weren't seasonal. They were a way of life. He also had a serious love for spicy food and hot sauce, always chasing the next level of heat and never backing down from a challenge. Whether it made him sweat or smile, he loved the thrill of it. As he would say, "If it doesn't make you cry, it's not hot enough."
To those who knew him, Boogr was more than just a name or a gamer tag. he was a constant source of kindness and belonging. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of being part of his world.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ben June Clark Parsons, mother, Lynne Dee Merrill, brothers, Danny Parsons, Jerry Smithpeters.
He is survived by his stepfather, Glenn Merrill, children, Emile Miller, Tyler (Heather) Parsons, grandchildren, Elizabeth Parsons, Olivia Parsons, siblings, Bonnie Widdis, June (Danielle) Parsons, Jason (Tabitha) Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family to assist in the funeral expenses.
