MICHAEL FRANCIS PERDEW, 87, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, December 25, 2025 at The Oaks of Aiken.
Born in Fullerton, California, he was the beloved son of the late William James Perdew and Eva Ryan Wolfe. Michael proudly served in the United States Air Force, a testament to his dedication and love for his country. After his service, he returned to Brea, California, where he carved out a fulfilling career in the construction industry. For most of his life, California was his home, until he moved to Aiken in 2023.
With a heart anchored in strong faith, Michael lived his life with a commitment to honoring Jesus and embodying His teachings. His unwavering belief was a guiding light to those around him.
He was preceded in death not only by his parents and siblings but also by his cherished former wife and best friend, Janice Perdew, whose memory he held dear.
Michael leaves behind three loving children, Sandra J. Perdew of Brea, CA, Rickiann Cole and her husband Chris of Aiken, SC, and Michael W.J. Perdew and his wife Brandi of Columbia, SC. He was also a proud grandfather to two granddaughters, Sarah J. Perdew and Alexandria Gardner and her husband Jack who brought joy to his life, along with her son, Jack Gardner, Michael's cherished great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning, December 31st at 11 o’clock in Historic Bethany Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed at (https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055).
