Michael Phillips Obituary
Born February 5, 1965, in South Hill, Virginia, he was a son of Theresa Barbara Brown Phillips and the late William Ross Phillips.
Michael retired from Arkansas State Police in 2020 after 21 years of service, having previously been employed by Redfield Police Department & Pulaski County Sheriff's Office for a total of 31 years protecting & serving his community and the people of the great state of Arkansas.
He was passionate about and collected all things Nascar, some may even call him a fanatic.
Michael absolutely loved going on adventures to Colorado, especially traveling the trails and winding cliffside highways, his favorite place to visit was the treacherous yet beautiful Imogene Pass.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his tiny partner in crime, Mayhem.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Shanna McDonel-Phillips; his mother, Theresa Phillips; brother, Sean Phillips and wife, Sheila; beloved ferret, Zeke; and many other loving family & friends.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home, 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2025, with Rev. Amelio P. Howard officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
