Michael Frances Piechnik

Our sympathies to the family for this irreplaceable loss. Mike was a treasure to everyone who knew him. He was a devoted friend, not only willing to listen but to really hear what you were saying. My time at Marian would not have been nearly as meaningful without him. As always, whenever I hear a tune from his beloved band Chicago, I will think of Mike - and smile.

Michael was a wonderful teacher to my children and a loved colleague during my time as principal of Marian High School. His love for students and co-workers made a difference in countless lives. May God grant him eternal rest in heaven. -- Joe and Pam Brettnacher
