Michael “Mike” Pressley, 64, of Lee County, GA., died on the job on December 13, 2024. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm, at Philema Road Baptist Church. Interment will be at Leesburg Cemetery.
Mike was born in San Antonio, TX on July 7, 1960 to Robert and Imogene Pressley. While his father served in the Military, he also lived in Albany, GA, Hamilton, MS and his family moved to Lee County, GA in 1975.Mike graduated from Lee County High School, was a master electrician and was employed with Gordon Electric for over forty years. He enjoyed hunting and especially fishing, putting out trout lines with his close friends and family, and being with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Blake Pressley, Gail Vanzant, and Kendell Pressley.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Pressley of Lee County, GA, two children, Amy (Adam) Wall of Bluffton, SC and Alan (Justine) Pressley of Panama City Beach, FL, his siblings, Glenda (Paul) Erickson of Tallahassee, FL, Carol (Mark) Garner of Lee County, GA, Randall Pressley of Terrell County, GA and Timothy (Regina) Pressley of Worth County, GA an four grandchildren, Brady Wall, Adalynn Wall, Emmie Wall and Raelynn Pressley, and multiple nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Philema Road Baptist Church.
