MICHAEL R. RAISOR, JR. age 44 With grace and dignity, Michael R. Raisor, Jr. peacefully joined his Heavenly Father at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Born February 24, 1968 in Lafayette, he was the son of Michael V. and Marcia (Leill) Raisor. Michael was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1986 where he was a member of the Jefferson Marching Band. Michael received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Consumer and Family Services at Purdue University in 1991. He attended Covenant Church in West Lafayette and was a member of the John Purdue Club, as well as, many other local organizations. Michael was employed in the family business, Mike Raisor Automotive Group, as Assistant Comptroller and Corporate Secretary. He enjoyed travel, design and decorating, Purdue Sports activities and Musical events and the Arts, but most of all, he was a devoted son, caring brother and adoring uncle. Surviving along with his parents, Mike and Marcia Raisor, are a brother, Bret A. (wife, Christine), a sister, Kristen Raisor Jones (husband, Dr. Heath) and three nephews, Tyler Raisor, Cole and Christian Jones and one niece, Hannah Raisor, all of Lafayette. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral services at 10:30 am Friday at Central Presbyterian Church, 31 N. 7th Street, Lafayette with Rev. Dr. Jeff Cover officiating and Rev. Dr,. David Henderson assisting. A private family burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette. Michael will be remembered for his devotion to his family, impeccable style, and caring loving heart. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Methodist Health Foundation, P.O.
