Michael Raley

Michael Raley - age 73, of Mascot, went to meet Jesus on December 21, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1952.
Mike was a faithful member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains and loved the Lord. He often said he had "read the back of the Book and knows who wins," a saying that brought him comfort and reflected the confidence he had in his relationship with the Lord.
Mike enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and spending time doing the things he loved. Above all, he loved his family, and nothing meant more to him than being with them. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doug and Ruth Raley; his brothers, Donnie and David Raley; and his sister, Doris Raley.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 53 years, Pat Raley; his sons, Shawn (Tiffany) Raley, Jeremy (Melinda) Raley, Shannon (Kathy) Raley, and Michael Scott Raley; his grandchildren, Christian Raley, Carley (Cameron) Wilder, Makayla Raley, Kayla Harris, Mikey Raley, and Andrew Raley; and his brother, DL (Betty) Raley.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Marty Buckner officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 27th at Rutledge Pike Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shane Goin, Travis Goin, Cameron Wilder, Mason Lane, Jeremy Thurmer, Jason Hensley, Christian Raley, Daryl Roach and Gabe Morgan. The music will be provided by Mike Smith and Mary Norton.
Mike will be deeply missed, but his faith, love for his family, and the memories he leaves behind will always be cherished.
