Michael Boyce Redding

My thoughts and prayers have been with Mr. Redding, from the time the medics started working with him. I have been sending his family thoughts and prayers, ever since. Let God lead and guide you through this time. I know he is missed and loved. Sounds like he was an awesome man. I am sending thanks to him for serving his time and his family for standing behind him. I had the honor of working with Mike who was a icon of great leadership and determination. I will pray for his family and can truly say we have lost a great man. RIP

Martin and I were saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was such a supporter of the all soccer players, he will be greatly missed. Please know we are sending prayers to all for comfort and peace.

I just read Michael's obit. I am so saddened to hear about him passing. He and I were friends at Holbrook Jr High in Lowell, NC. He was a very special person and will be missed by so many!!!

Mike was one of the few people that made high school bearable for me. I never felt judged by him and he never shied away from speaking or being kind. I am so sorry for his familys loss of such an upstanding heroic man. God bless him and those who loved him and God bless you all.

Since my mom told me about Mikes passing Saturday morning, Ive thought of little else. My heart is just broken for his wife and children, Boyce, Eric, and Philip. My family has known his family since before we kids were even born beginning with the friendship of our parents. Weve lost touch over the years but the memories remain. I so pray for Gods healing and restoration on all his loved ones. I just know Joan was there with open arms to welcome him home. We love you Mike and will miss you until we meet again. RIP ❤

Mike was an outstanding person, he exemplified himself as a leader, a freind and a mentor. As his subordinate I was impressed with his enthusiasm of life, country, honor and ensuring his day and our day started & ended with giving all our best back to Soldiers.

I admired him, respected him and will always honor him the rest of my life.

Mike was such a kind and thoughtful person. He was always a leader of men. My brother Kenny and I were in ROTC with Mike and have many good memories of our high school years. Mike Redding attended Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, NC. Mike was well loved by many classmates, through all grades alike. He was a school leader and a talented athlete. But most of all he was generous, kind and would do anything for a freind in need. He graduated in the Class of 1982.

So truly sorry for your loss. Mike was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Boomer, hearing the news over the weekend was very difficult. I can't imagine how devastating it was to Liz and the family. Our days go back to the Middle East after 9/11 and then to Holloman. You were a trusted friend I highly respected and that could always be counted on no matter what. I will miss our catch-up talks like it was only yesterday. We will keep you and the family in our thoughts as your loss continues to be felt. You will be missed by all. We will never forget...

Mike and I were roommates at EOD School in Indian Head Md. Great guy who I had lost touch with over the years. Gone too soon....condolences to his family. EOMFD!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I worked with Mike and he was a true professional. We would, at times, sit and talk about family. He was so full of life and once talked about a drive he made to get a piece of furniture for his wife. He so loved his family, you could hear it in his voice. He has left a void in our daily lives, but will forever be in our hearts.

I lived two houses over from Mike as a kid. We were in high school together. Mike and I shared rides to school and worked together in the neighborhood doing yard work and odd jobs. He was a great friend at that time in life. I remember his brother Eric and when his "baby brother" Phillip was born. Through the years we lost touch, but during that season of life we had lots of fun. I knew that he went on to have a family and proudly serve his country in the military. I was always proud of him and the direction his like took. I pray for God's comfort for your family as you go through this time of understanding and healing.

My God wrap you in His arms at this sad time in your lives and always. These days are hard but, just know that they do get better and the love he had for you will always be in your heart.

Our son Danny is friends with Austin. We are so deeply saddened for the sudden loss of your dad. We will pray for peace and comfort during this painful time. Love the Gallaghers

We are devastated to hear of Michael's untimely passing. He was an incredible Airman with honor and integrity rarely seen anymore. To this day I remember words of wisdom he gave me when our family was going through difficult times in New Mexico in 2006. This is such a horrific loss for everyone who knew and loved Michael.
