Hello family/friends. I grew up with Mike along with my siblings and his siblings on Cleveland Ohio on E173rd Street. His parents and my parents were close friends. At that time we all had a wonderful childhood, games, sports etc. My sincere condolences to his entire family. He will truly be missed.

I remember becoming friends with Mike when he was on the track team with my brother Tom '73. Great guy - its wonderful learning about his important accomplishments.

Dear Family and Friends,
My condolences to all who knew Mike. I too was privileged to have known and worked with Mike on the early C3 project. He was a kind and committed person who I enjoyed working with very much. He will be missed.
Best regards,
Josephine Moreno

Mike was my resident tutor when he was a student at Williams and I was an ABC student in high school. He would often tease me about being young and relatively unsophisticated, calling me a "Tenderoni"! It became his term of endearment for us. Little did I know he was only four years older than me, but I respected him as if he were years older. Mike was the first man I met and, one of few I have known since, who possessed grace. A rare gift that made him an exceptional human being. I will remember Mike with a smile and reverence.

Dear Allison and Family,
I'm a friend of Mike's and Leadership Greater Washington Class of 1999 alumni. Mike was also a steady participant in our monthly, diversity group calls.
I will miss Mike's keen sense of humor and on-point commentary about today's politics and social justice issues. Always a voice of reason, Mike could dissect any topic and find common ground even among dissenters.
Now, he will rest from all of the madness here.
Please be comforted in knowing he positively impacted many lives during his life.
