Michael Wayne Rocca

Michael Wayne "Mike" Rocca, 60, passed away on February 28, 2026, at his home in Milford, Virginia. Mike was born on January 17, 1966, in Falls Church, Virginia, to the late William Eugene Rocca and Sally Joanne Small.

Mike shared the past twenty-one years with Carleen, his soulmate and love of his life. He was a master electrician by trade, but his favorite place to be was on a dirt bike or 4- wheeler riding through the Shenandoah mountains. His other passions were crabbing and fishing or hunting with his dad. He was also a talented sketch artist.

He is survived by his life partner, Carleen Painter; his mother, Sally Boswell; siblings Steven Rocca, Gail Rocca, William Rocca (Sami), and Joey Rocca; two aunts; one Uncle; four nieces; three nephews; a great-niece and nephew; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved father; his grandparents, Frank and Helen Rocca and Grace and Harry Small; his uncles, John Rocca and Deano Rocca; and his adoring dogs, Angel, Lily and Hemi.

A celebration of life will be held at Covenant Funeral Services Stafford Chapel, date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kennel to Couch (kenneltocouch.org), a national nonprofit supporting pit bull advocacy, or to a charity of your choice.
