Michael Ropiak Obituary
Michael was born in New Britain on Aug. 12, 1946. He was retired from the Department of Correction. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter with his pal Spike. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy (Dottie), as well as his daughter, Jill E. Maznicki, and son, Joseph M. Ropiak. He is also survived by his sister, Christine Fleischman; grandchildren, Scott Smith, Nicola Travali, James Maznicki, and Thomas Maznicki; stepdaughters, Sharon Granteed and Kathryn Gartrell; stepgrandchildren Marla Granteed, Dana Granteed, Dylan Wienecki, and Jakob Stankoski; and great-step-grandchildren, Najalyce, Malakai, and Shakur. The family would like to thank the Masonic Care staff, especially Kim, Ana, and Karen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's name may be made to Wounded Warriors, Donor Care Center, P.O. Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas.
A private service for family only will be held.
