My condolences Waleska & Andy !

I met Mike summer 2010 in New York City when we were both visiting our mutual friend Jack Holkeboer. I arrived late on a Thursday night and the next day Mike and I had to find something to do while Jack was at work.

We set off as strangers with no plan and over the course of exploring the city that day, it didn´t take long to feel like I´d been friends with Mike all my life. I´m sure I´m not the only one with such a story - Mike´s passion for this adventure called life and all its possibilities shone through as soon as I met him.

Michael always had a smile on his face and was so warm and personable. We went to the University of Georgia together and he was a brilliant, hard working student. He was a truly kind hearted soul.
