Michael Anthony "Tony" Ross, 55, of Martinsville passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born August 19, 1966 to the late William Michael and Janet S. (Davis) Ross in Bloomington.
Tony was a graduate of Martinsville High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in economics from Indiana University. He went on to become a real estate appraiser for several years. Tony had a love of music and was a member of the IU Marching Hundred and a member of the First United Methodist Church choir. Tony was also an ordained minister and spent time as the pastor at Gosport United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, William Clay Ross, Harrison Davis Ross, John Phillip Ross.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Janet Ross.
Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Costin Funeral Chapel. Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Martinsville First United Methodist Church with Pastor David Ballinger officiating. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church Tuesday.
Committal services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at New South Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Martinsville First United Methodist Church or to Kairos Prison Ministry.
