Michael Matthew Roth

Michael Matthew "Matt" Roth passed away at his home in Devol, OK on November 8, 2025, from a prolonged illness. He is survived by his father Michael Glenn Roth of Irving, TX, his mother Sue Ann Prince of Devol, OK, his brothers Caleb Roth, Samuel Roth, and Katlin McKenzie. Matthew is survived by his niece, Sophie Roth and his nephews, Caleb Roth Jr., Samuel Roth-Passetti, and Jackson Mooney. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Janie Roth of Bowie, Tx, and Roy and Elaine Love of Jermyn, TX.

Matt was a great lover of animals and an aspiring artist. He adopted numerous dogs that were abandoned in the Oklahoma countryside, and he spent much of his time painting and strumming away on his cherished Martin Guitar. He loved to discuss bible verses and contemplate on their meaning. During his life and especially during his illness, he would often recite his favorite verse, Psalm 23 for strength and courage.

Graveside services will be held at the Antelope Cemetery on Thursday 11/13/2025 at 1 pm.
