Sassone, Michael W.
Webster: Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age 84. Predeceased by his son, James. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan Sassone; daughters, Laura (Michael) LiButti, Elizabeth Sassone; daughter-in-law, Vicki Sassone; grandchildren, Marlee (Dayvid) Jablonski-LiButti, Cameron (Lauren) LiButti, Sara, Jami, Renee Sassone; great-grandchildren, Cade and Logan and his brother, Ronald Sassone. Michael was retired from Xerox in Webster after 36 years. He served in the US Air Force from 1956 1958.
His family will receive friends Thursday, September 1, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Friday, September 2, 10:00 am at St. Kateri at Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. Interment Webster Union Cemetery.

Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. I went to yoga every Thursday for 11 yrs with that group and had a wonderful pasta dinner at your beautiful home oh so many years ago now. Mike was a good person, laid back with a friendliness and sense of humor that he shared with all. May he rest on peace and may God bless you and your large family. Take good care Joan.
