Michael Francis Schepers March 6, 1966- April 3, 2024 JOHNSON CITY - Michael Francis Schepers, age 58, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on March 6, 1966 in Geneva, Nebraska to Larry and Kathy Schepers. Michael graduated from University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1989 and moved to Johnson City, TN in 1992. He became a Professional Firefighter in Johnson City, TN soon after. Michael is survived by his wife Jennifer Wisdom-Schepers, daughters Geneva and Estella Schepers, stepdaughters Valerie Edwards and Brooke Schleiger, father Larry Schepers (Diane), sister Chris Cichon (Steve) and brother Eric Schepers (Carole) as well as countless sisters/brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was loved by so many other "brothers" and so many dear friends. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy and his grandparents.

Michael loved the adventure of life with his wife and kids, family and friends. He loved anything to do with the lake and boating, laughing, storytelling, helping and serving in various ways. He was a master at building and fixing anything, keeping multiple projects going and finding great financial deals.... but most of all, he loved Jesus.

Funeral will be held at Grace Fellowship Church 2314 S. Greenwood Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604 at 3pm Sunday April 7, 2024.
