Michael Schmieder Obituary
Mike was born August 17, 1951, in St. Louis, the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Milfelt) Schmieder. He was a devoted husband to Linda Gaines and a loving father to Katie, Joe and Emily. For most of his adult life he worked in local dairies, where he made many life-long friends. He was the life of the party and always wanted the best for everyone. He enjoyed all family gatherings, CTC Valentine's dances, fishing and hunting at the club, playing softball and tailgating before Rams games. Bringing family and friends together was his gift and making sure they enjoyed it was his specialty and for that he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by wife, Linda Schmieder, his children, Katie (Keyan) Brown, Joe Schmieder, Emily Schmieder and younger brother, Tony Schmieder as well as many friends and extended family members.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ken Schmieder, and sisters, Betty Jo Chettle and Lissa Muessig.
At his request, he will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
