Yesterday
Mike was an incredibly nice guy who cared deeply for his friends and family. While I am sad for his passing, I am thankful that he is now free from any suffering. May he watch over his family from the heavenly clouds up above. He will be remembered, and he will be missed.

Shari, I am so sorry to hear of Mike´s passing. He always brought a smile to my face when you came into Starbucks. Will always remember the day we figured out that Mike and my brother were friends from High School!
What a connection....

With love and remembrance
Dear Shari, Eric, Brad and Family,
My heart is with you as we honor the beautiful life of Mike. From the moment Eric and Ethan met as freshman roommates in Austin, Mike and Shari became part of one of the most precious chapters of my life. Those UT years, cheering the fraternity boys on, and beyond - sharing photos, stories, and laughter, created a bond between our families that I will always treasure.
Our entire family had the joy of spending time with Mike at UT during moving days, college visits, and at graduation. My children Sara + Alex, Evan, Ethan + Rosie, Johnny and my mom (Nana), all experienced firsthand what a special person Mike was, and we feel grateful to have shared those moments in his presence.
Mike was truly a character in the very best sense. He had that rare gift of finding humor in the moment and making everyone around him feel seen, welcomed, and loved. His warmth and wit were simply magnetic.
Shari, the devotion and love you have shown Mike through the years is nothing short of remarkable. Your strength, care, and unwavering commitment to the life you built together is an inspiration to everyone who witnessed it.
Mike's courage over the years was extraordinary, and it feels so fitting that this gathering is a true celebration of life.
I am also deeply grateful for the way you have welcomed Ethan into your family´s life. The brotherhood between Eric and Ethan is truly special, and it means so much to know they have walked so many of life´s important moments together.
Mike's love, humor, and spirit will live on in all of you, in us and in the many lives he touched.
With love, gratitude, and heartfelt sympathy,
Wendy (Cohen), Johnny, and Family
