SCHULER, Michael Ray "Big Mike" Sr., age 66 of New Carlisle, passed away on February 28, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Michael was born on November 10, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Beverly (NÉE Hamilton) Schuler.
Michael graduated from Belmont High School in 1973, and then went to Sinclair University to study business. After completing business school, he honorably served his country in the Army for four years, as a E4 - Corporal. Once Michael returned home from the Army, Michael taught himself how to drive a Semi Truck, which lead to him starting his own trucking business that thrived for over 20 years.
Michael is survived by his loving wife - Tammie Sue Schuler, one son - Michael Ray Schuler Jr., and one daughter - Crystal Ann Schuler, grandchildren - Sean, Tylor, Dalton, Alexia, and Preston, and two great-grandchildren - Kaiden and Emerson. He is also survived by many nephews and one niece.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, and his three sisters - Debbie, Brenda, and Linda. He will be missed by everyone that knew him, and may he rest in peace and in love.
Visitation calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 3PM, with a funeral service following at 4PM, with Pastor Jacob Kirk, at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home.
