Mr. Michael Wayne Scime

Mr. Michael Wayne Scime 22, passed away on Friday June 7, 2024, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Michael is the son of Christopher J. Scime and Tonya L. Barwick. Michael has lived in Lake City all his life and was working as an airplane mechanic for Haeco, and also had started his own side business window car tinting and named it "Tint Doctor" he attended Christ Central Church, Michael Believed God, Family and Country he was a Naval Sea Cadet Graduate; he was very patriotic, his plans were to join the United States Navy as a Corpsman. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time with his family, old cars and collecting many different things. He also enjoyed going to the Gator Nationals and was an Avid Florida Gator Fan.
Michael is survived by his father Christopher Scime', Lake City, FL; his mother Tonya Barwick, Lake City, FL; his fiancé Hannah Giles, Lake City, FL; one son Barrett Scime a daughter Emilia Scime both of Lake City, FL; three brothers Austin Barwick, Lake City, FL; Joseph Scime', Punta Gorda, FL; and Christopher J. Scime, Jr. (Christine) Gig, Harbor WA; two sisters Alyssa Barwick, Lake City, FL; and Rhiannon Scime Sicbenaler (Joseph) Hartford, WI; his maternal grandparents Pam and Gary Decker, Lake City, FL; his paternal grandparents Joseph and Dorothy Scime, TX; two aunts Ann Marie McKenna (Jay) TX; and Denise Scime, New York. And a host of nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Michael will be conducted on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. at the in Gateway-Forest lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
