Michael James Seigler entered into eternal rest on December 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and determination.
He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Seigler; their 6 sons, James Seigler, Sam Seigler, Zack Seigler, Shane Alexander and his wife Sarah, Logan Alexander, and stepson, Jesse Sullivan and his wife Kate. He is also survived by his mother, Vicki and Dallas Underwood; and stepbrother, Steven. His father, (TJ) Terry and Paddy Seigler; his sister, Michele Mayes and her husband Chris; stepbrother, Clint and wife Tammie Beck; stepsister Brandi Miller. His nieces Haylee and her children, and his niece Michaela, and many cousins.
Michael's passion for airplanes inspired him to pursue his career dreams, and he achieved remarkable milestones, including graduating from Abilene High School, studying general education at Cisco Junior College, TX and attending Aircraft Maintenance School at North American Institute of Aviation, SC where he earned his A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) License. He furthered his education at American Flyers Flight School, NY obtaining a Commercial Pilots License with instruments rating. He returned to Abilene to raise a family and worked at Abilene Municipal Airport as a Quality Control Inspector until his passing. Michael's love for life, family, and flying will continue to inspire those who knew him. He cherished life and family above all else. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
