Michael Kent Sharpton “Magoo” passed away Monday, July 15, 2024. He was born to Kent and Evelyn Sharpton on July 8th, 1965. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, and a great friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Michael was a 1983 graduate of Bradley High School and employed with Whirlpool. MaGoo was full of knowledge and loved getting into a good debate. He was full of life, fun and love for all his friends and family. In his spare time, he enjoyed auctions, his love of music, family time and…….cars. 

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Silas C. and Ruth Sharpton; fraternal grandparents, Richard and Ora Bain; a list of beloved relatives.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents; sister, Angie (Mike) Sharpton – Strozier; daughter, Annabelle Sharpton; nieces, Megan (Tyler) Sharpton and Shanna Corvin; great nieces and nephews, Ashtyn, Bray, Jayden and Sam.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral home and Cremation Services at Fike Chapel.

The family would like to thank the following people, Ronnie Freeman, Robbie Price, Amanda McSpadden, Mary Debity, Sheryl Frase, Cathy Roberts, Gary Roberts, Cheryl Johnston, Jo Lynn Sharpton and Dr. James Headrick and the nurses at Memorial Hospital.

In leu of flowers please make a donation in Mikes memory to the Shriners Hospital and Lion Club.

Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Fike Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
