Michael Shepherd Obituary
He worked at RSR – Cometco Inc. for over 20 years working as a machine operator. He enjoyed all forms of racing and cars; even working at Speedway in Indianapolis after retirement. His favorite past time was restoring old cars and bringing new life to old vehicles.
He is survived by his siblings; Dena Black of Worthington, Dedi Turner (John Bryan) of Kentucky, Cindy Shepherd (Jeff Cunnigan) Indianapolis, Steven Shepherd (Melissa) of Indianapolis; children, Michele Houpt (Kennedy) of Indianapolis, Michael Shane Shepherd; special companion, Lisa Brown; grandchildren, Joe Houpt and Jake Houpt, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rusty Shepherd.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home.
