Michael Shinn Obituary
Michael is survived by his wife of 32 years Peggy (Johansen), the dedicated father of Kelly (Anthony) Amodei, and Christopher (Katrina) Shinn, and adoring grandfather (Pops) to Jack & Kane Amodei.
He is also survived by his sisters Virginia (Leon) Joseph, Diane (Gary) Peze, Linda (Robert) Baiocchi, his brother John (Patricia) Shinn, and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was born in Riverside, NJ. He attended apprentice school for cabinet making. He was a proud member of the carpenters union for thirty-eight years and worked for Spectrum Show Services for the last twenty-two.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, especially vacationing at the Jersey shore and Walt Disney World.
He was a proud "Parrothead", attended many Jimmy Buffett concerts, was a former member of the "Phlock of South Jersey" and gained many special friends from this association
He was an avid Phillies & Eagles fan, loved helping family and friends with any project, and was always looking for a new house improvement.
Services are private. In Lieu of Flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Homeward Bound Animal Pet Adoption Center. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Michael, please visit our Tree Store.
