I am so sorry to hear of Mike´s passing! He was instrumental in helping me when I desperately needed an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on. He was an exemplary counselor and one of my true blue heroes!

Dear Tucker, Cameron, and Casey,

I am very saddened by your father's passing.
You don't know me but I knew your Dad through the Alkire family your Dad met while at Air Products.

I am honored and blessed to have met and gotten to know your Dad. He was a wise and wonderful man who will be missed by all who had the great fortune to have known him. You, his sons and your families, were the light of your Dad's life and he spoke with pride about all of you.

May the beautiful memories of time with your father help you through this very sad time and be your bridge to peace and the connection to your Dad that never ends.

I only knew Michael for a short time but it never felt that way. I felt like I knew him for years. We always had great conversations about everything. I am happy to have been one of his many nurses that was a part of his care. I will really miss him. I am thankful for the memories he left me with.

So glad we got to see Mike at the last reunion. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very saddened reading of Mike's death and have a few decades worth of professional interactions with him as a colleague dating back to his Air Products days and continuing forward. He was professional, respected, well liked, reliable and his passing is a loss. To his family, may your memories sustain you during the days ahead.
