He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Rose Mary Clay Shroyer. Also surviving are two daughters, Suzanne M. Schiefer, and Pamela K. Shroyer; three grandchildren, Jeb Schiefer (Catherine), Case Schiefer (Kelsey), and Claire Schiefer Evans (Dustin), as well as a great-granddaughter, Alice Schiefer.
Mr. Shroyer retired from Dunham-Bush as General Manager of the Malaysian Operation near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also served many years as Plant Manager of the Dunham-Bush facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
A celebration of life will be planned at a future date.

There are many memories of my cousin Mike Shroyer, but a I will never forget and will always cherish his teaching fly fishing to my wife Diane and I when we visited with Mike, Rosie and Ruth in Virginia. On two or three trips there, he would take us to a beautiful sport on a river to fish. He really loved to fish but also to share his passion.
