Michael S. Sim

Mr. Michael S. Sim of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the age of 53 years, 2 months, and 20 days. Michael was born in Seoul, South Korea. He was the son of the late Jaeung Sim and was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Sim, and uncle, Tony Gallegos. Michael was a graduate of Prince George's High School. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Hopewell, Virginia. He served as Choir Director and sang tenor in the choir. Michael was a former employee of Ferrell Electric in Glasgow, Kentucky. He completed his apprenticeship under Local Union 666's Journeymen's Apprenticeship program. He joined Lee Company in October 2021 and remained until June 9, 2025. Michael loved being an electrician. Michael loved fishing and seafood. You would often find him watching line dance videos. He loved cats and really enjoyed his mom and grandmother's cooking. When time allowed, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His mother, Sue Lee Sim, will cherish Michael's memories. Sister Julia (Robert) "Bob" Baldwin. Fiancé Stephanie Lea Henderson.
