Michael Smith Obituary
Michael Anthony "Tony" Smith, age 60, of Bristol, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 22, 1965, in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and served his country in the United States Army. Tony was preceded in death by his father, John Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Fields Smith Helwig of Chilhowie, Va.; two sons, Lamar Alexander Smith of Washington and Brandon Markel Smith of Cleveland, Ohio; three siblings: Nathan Smith and wife, Lolita, of Bristol, Va.; Angelia Smith of Chilhowie, Va.; and Daryl Smith of Columbus, Ohio.
Arrangements will be announced as they are available.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Foster Family Cemetery, c/o Debbie Foster, P. O. Box 183, Emory, VA 24327.
