Michael Smithson Obituary
Michael Wayne Smithson, age 82, of Centerville passed away peacefully at Fairmont Senior Living on August 18, 2025. He was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio, by parents Wayne and Virginia, graduated from University of Cincinnati School of Engineering, and retired from General Motors and Palmer Plastics.
He was loved by wife, Jane; daughter, Julie Turner (Pete); son, Jeff Smithson; grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, and Caroline Turner, brother, Bob Smithson (Teri); sister, Ginny Sue Becknell; and in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Mike was predeceased by sister, Mary Jane.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at Restoration Church (63 E. Franklin Street, Centerville, 45459) on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
