Mike - this awful day is once again being remembered. We need to keep doing so our young people will never forget as well.
I enjoyed working with you - you at Marsh, me at Gallagher Basset. The loss that day was palpable. Just remember you are thought about everyday along with all those others we lost that day and on every day since.

I knew Michael only via fax correspondence (email was still pretty new then) to our law office here on Guam. I thought of him during the tragedy which unfolded on tv here late at night. I saved a letter addressed to him as a reminder of the event and of our mortality. Best wishes to family members on this 10th anniversary of the tragedy.

Over the past ten years I have thought about you several times; I remember speaking to you on the phone so many times before that terrible day, I only wish I could have let you know that you touched many lives with your wit and caring attitude. Dear Michael,
I remember when your Mom & I were pregnant. She with you and I with Vincent. We ate a lot of orange salds that summer something introduced to me by my Mother-in law who said it was refreshing and it was. Your Mom and I ate that a lot.
I enjoyed the times your parents and all you kids spent with us at our house and we at yours.
It's hard to reconcile the knowledge that you are no longer with us.

He was one of the 1st people I thought about on 9/11 after finding out that Marsh had moved to the WTC. Michael brightened everyone's day with his kindness and aura. You continue to bring joy to so many of us. You have brought your family closer to ours and it has brightened our lives.

Nearly 2 years after this tragedy, we continue to remember the victims and their families. I randomly came to know Michael's story through a commemoritive bracelent I recently recieved. God bless him and his family. Our prayers are still with you.

I did not know Michael personally but I do know his family because we are a client of Anthony & Sons Bakery. I would like the Sorresse family to know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. And although I did not know Michael, his family has always been so kind and genuinely sincere to my family that I can just imagine what a wonderful man Michael was. Michael worked for my husband YEARS ago @ Travelers. We'll never forget the ski trip to Vermont,(although Pete might want to) and the day he bought the Stealth. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were blessed to know him.

When people here, knowing I came from NJ, ask if I knew someone, sadly, I look down and nod my head yes.



I knew Michael's family--wonderful people I say. And Mike was a really great guy.



And although I have not seen his family or him for nearly 15 years--are we not the culmination of our past?



And when I tell people here that Mike was a really great guy, I don't say it because he is gone but because he is a great guy. A part of my past is gone--are we not the culmination of our past? And although I have not seen Mike in 15 years and although I might not have ever seen him again--I certainly won't now and that weighs heavy on my heart because as I think of him now it's as if I had seen him yesterday.



So, when people here ask me if I knew anyone, I lower my head to hide my tears and nod my head yes. I knew a great guy.

Michael you were such a warm and caring person who loved life.You will never be forgotten. You and your wonderful family are in my thoughts and prayers everyday.

You will always live on in peoples hearts.

Mike, you were the person that everyone else would be if they could. I try to rationalize our loss of you by thinking that you loved and lived in your shortened life as much as most people do in the entire lives. You opened your heart and your home to me and my brother Charlie. You were an example to me to relax, have fun, and to treat others as you would want to be treated by them. We'll never forget you. How could we?
